It can be a bummer to work on a holiday, but at MBS Direct, the holiday comes to work every Halloween.
From costumes to carving pumpkins to trick-or-treating, MBS employees and their families came together to celebrate All Hallows’ Eve in between their work duties Oct. 31.
The company-wide costume contest kicked things off Halloween morning. Though it was open to everyone regardless of division, some MBS Direct members took home top honors, Account Manager Eric Dunn, who earned third place in the singles category for his take on Robin Hood. The customer service call center held its own contest as well, with Reggie Judge earning first for his raven-inspired costume!
Afterward, Direct held its own pumpkin-carving contest. Course Materials Buyer Admir Omerovic earned first place in the “lights on” category for his spooky metal pumpkin. In the “lights off” category, Team Star Wars (Ellis Carter, Lindsey Shipley, Justin Martin, Austin Luttrell, and Angel Kenison-Scott) took the top spot for their Darth Maul jack-o-lantern.
Meanwhile, MBS employees’ kids got to take part in the fun, as well. Instead of going door to door, office children went department to department and desk to desk in their Halloween costume for office trick-or-treating!
